Considering current circumstances due to impact of COVID-19, SARAS prolonged public comment period to ensure active participation of the professional society in the improvement process of the Standard 

The memorandum aims at improving financial transparency in the educational sphere as well as enhancing the quality of professional education 

An amendment was made to Order N188 of the Minister of Finance of Georgia on June 8, 2017. 
On the basis of the amendment, Accounting, Reporting, and Auditing Board is authorized to handle dispute resolution sessions remotely, using relevant online platforms. 

The rule of retrieving information/documents in an electronic form was added to the Order № N-9 of the Head of SARAS of July 12, 2017, on “Approval of the Regulation on Quality Control System Monitoring”
