IFIAR’s 17th Inspection Workshop was held in Indonesia

On March 7-9, 2023, IFIAR’s 17th inspection workshop was held. With the support of the World Bank, representatives of SARAS attended the event along with other member counties. 

IFIAR’s inspection workshops are prepared and led annually for member countries by the Inspection Workshops Working Group. The development and organization of a robust and sustainable inspection workshop model is central to IFIAR’s aim to enhance investor protection by improving audit quality. With member countries from all continents, IFIAR is in a unique position to provide a forum through the inspection workshops for independent audit regulators to meet and discuss best practices and exchange experience. This information sharing and identification of better practices in inspecting audit firms is promoting greater consistency across regulators.
