“Survey of Management Reports prepared by business entities for 2020“ - the representatives of SARAS participated in the event

On June 29, the representatives of SARAS participated in the event on “Survey of Management Reports prepared by business entities for 2020”.

In partnership with IFC and with the support of SECO the project “ESG activities in Georgia” is being implemented. 

Within the project, the business consulting company PMO, conducted the survey on management reports submitted in 2020 to SARAS, based on the information placed on the reporting portal. It aimed to identify the compliance of management reports, with the Law on "Accounting, Reporting and Auditing", as well as with the recommendations developed by SARAS and international practices.

The event focused on presenting survey results to the audience. Mr. Davit Mchedlidze, acting head of SARAS, attended the meeting and gave a welcoming speech to the attendees. 

It should be noted that this is the second survey and SARAS hopes that other surveys will be conducted in this and other directions using the information placed on the reporting portal.
