IFAC and the World Bank held joint Event - New ISQMs: Raising the Bar for Quality Management

On June 2, IFAC and IAASB together with The World Bank Centre for Financial Reporting Reform (CFRR) held webinar for professional accountancy organizations and other stakeholders in Europe and Central Asia on the new International Standards on Quality Management (ISQMs).

Sue Almond, IAASB Board Member and member of the ISQM 1 Task Force, and Natalie Klonaridis, Deputy Director of the IAASB delivered a live presentation on key aspects of the ISQMs and answered participants’ questions. 

Up to 800 people from 81 countries attended the event (138 from Georgia). Representatives from STAREP countries i.e. Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine also attended the event.
