On July 24, 2020, with support of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and National Reforms Support Foundation for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing (RSF), an event was held on: “Presentation of GDPR Standards in Research and Analytics in Georgian for Researchers, Analysts and Community of Accounting Profession”.
The event aimed at demonstrating the importance of personal data protection and presenting the ICC/ESOMAR International Code on Market, Opinion and Social Research and Data Analytics – an ethical and professional guidance on how to handle the data responsibly.
The representatives of ICC and RSF presented the latest revision of the Code, one that continues to promote high standards of ethical behavior in research. The Georgian version of the Code is now available to all interested parties.
During the event, the Head of SARAS presented the research section of their official web page - researches, statistical products and important analytical information regarding the reform, based on SARAS information resources will be available on this section. SARAS recommends all interested parties, willing publishing their papers on the research section, to ensure that their publications comply with the Code on Market, Opinion and Social Research and Data Analytics.
