Event concerning hot topics of IFRS standards and management reporting was held

On November 14, SARAS, with the support of World Banks organized the event regarding “Hot topics of the IFRS standards and management reporting”. Public interest entities, first category entities and their auditors, as well as the academic field, attended the event. 

Member of IASB, Gary Kabureck led the event. His presentation was dedicated to the discussion of the most relevant updates in IFRS standards and management reporting 

Gary Kabureck was appointed to the International Accounting Standards Board (Board) in 2013 and reappointed for a second term in 2017. Mr Kabureck is an active member of Financial Executives International (FEI). Before his appointment, he served as the chief accounting officer and since 2003 as a corporate vice president for Xerox Corporation. Mr Kabureck also served on a range of advisory bodies, including those to the US Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and to the Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).  

Besides the abovementioned, the SARAS representatives discussed the current results of ongoing reporting reform.
