Georgia expands international relationships in audit oversight area

On October 1-3, Representatives of Public Audit Oversight Body of Ukraine visited SARAS. The meetings aimed to share Georgia’s experience in audit oversight areas, including auditors’ registry administration and quality monitoring. 

Within the frames of visit, parties signed a cooperation memorandum. According to the noted memorandum parties will cooperate in following directions: improving mechanisms for public oversight of audit activities; improving the methodology for conducting audits to control the quality of audit services; developing instruments for mutual exchange of information and professional development of the employees of the parties.
