The SARAS participated in the conference dedicated to major challenges in the academic and professional education field of accounting and auditing

On April 23, 2019 the representatives of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision of the Ministry of Finance participated in the conference held by the World Bank and National Reforms Support Foundation. The main topics of the conference were the major challenges in academic and professional education, review of current situation and tendencies in the world, ongoing reforms in Georgia, innovations in this field and other topical issues.

The representatives of the SARAS made the presentations on the professional education regulations and on the retraining programs in the simplified financial reporting standard for the 4th category enterprises and in the IFRS for SMEs under the coordination of the SARAS.

The event was attended by the representatives of the EU Delegation, the World Bank, Universities, Colleges, Professional Organizations, and the invited international experts.
