IFIAR’s 13th Inspection Workshop was held in Paris

On March 6-8, 2019, the representatives of theService for Aaccounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia attended IFIAR’s 13th Inspection Workshop in Paris.

The workshop was dedicated to an overview of the recent activities of IFIAR and its plans going forward. The audience also became familiar with the news related to the core issues of audit - the speakers shared their new approaches and experiences, fraud related risks in audit and importance of data analytics in audit.

In addition, the workshop was dedicated to an overview of the following issues: audit quality indicators, cyber security, joint inspections, independence of regulators, evaluation of the audit quality management system of the firm and etc.
