Workshop on the standard of financial reporting for IV category enterprises was held in Kutaisi

On1st February 2019, with the support of the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Kutaisi and donor organizations, the service for accounting, reporting and auditing supervision of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, held a working meeting about the project of simplified financial reporting standards for IV category enterprises and the promotion of its implementation. The main object of the meeting was to introduce the basic principles of the new standard of financial reporting for IV category enterprises and its legislative requirements.

In the frames of the meeting, the representatives of the SARAS presented the manual - "Financial Reporting Standards and self-learning materials for IV Category Industries". The representatives of the SARAS and donor organizations held presentations before the audience. The final part of the event was dedicated to answering the questions asked by the audience.

More than 130 people attended the meeting in Kutaisi, mostly they were the accountants from IV category enterprises.
