The representative of the Service attended the meeting held by the PCAOB in the US

On December 5-7 2018 the 12th Annual Meeting of the PCAOB International Institute on Audit Regulation was held in Washington, DC, which was attended by the representative of the Service for accounting, reporting and auditing supervision of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia. The meeting aimed at sharing PCAOB’s approaches and cooperation of the participating parties on issues of audit aimed at promoting stability of global financial markets.

The main topics of the meeting were: the development of audit firm management; new technologies that influence the audit; cybersecurity; perspectives of investors and audit committees; news related to the audit quality assessment, etc. The event was attended by PCAOB Board members, representatives of audit supervisory bodies, invited professors, members of audit committees and others.
