ICAEW launches ADB’s regional technical assistance program for Georgia

On the initiative of SARAS, The ICAEW launched the implementation of a regional technical assistance program funded by ADB. The program aims to improve the quality of auditors/audit firms registered in Georgia. Within the program, ICAEW have supplied a UK audit methodology based on the International Standards on Auditing and delivered it to professional accountancy organizations in Georgia for further distribution among member auditors/audit firms.

Within the program, the methodology will be translated and relevant training will be carried out for English-speaking, as well as Georgian-speaking audiences.

The World Bank’s CFRR is very helpfully supporting the process of translation of the methodology.
