Events aiming to raise awareness regarding the accounting and reporting reform were held in Batumi

On July 19-20, the SARAS and the World Bank organized meetings with first and second category entities, public interest entities and auditors in Batumi.

During the event, representatives of the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the Management Consultants Association of Georgia and the Service held the presentations. Presentations were devoted to activities of the Service, ongoing reform of accounting and reporting and reporting requirements. During the event, presenters discussed the law requirements regarding the presentation of the Management Report and best practices throughout the world. The representative of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development discussed an ongoing project, which considers consultations and financial support of entities in the process of preparation of financial and management report. Also, during the event, the electronic process of the presentation of financial statements was demonstrated to the public.

Events were held in the question-answer mode and covered significant issues.
