Another event aiming to raise awareness regarding IFRS for SMEs was held

Georgian Employers' Association (GEA) organized the meeting between member organizations and the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision on December 19, 2017. The event aimed to raise awareness regarding IFRS for SMEs and review the current reform of accounting-reporting field. 

Through the presentation, representatives of the Service and invited trainer discussed the nature and benefits of financial/non-financial statements prepared in accordance with the IFRS for SMEs requirements. They also informed the audience about activities and objectives of the Service and requirements of the presentation of financial/non-financial statements.

The event participants were able to discuss interesting issues at the end of the event.
