Another presentation aiming to raise IFRS for SMEs awareness was held

The Service held the fifth presentation aiming to raise IFRS for SMEs awareness in collaboration with the Georgian Small and Medium Enterprises Association on December 5, 2017. At this point, a successful collaboration of the Service and GSMEA concerning arrangement of noted presentations is over. Although, the Service plans to continue working with GSMEA in the future to fulfill IFRS for SMEs adoption in Georgia. 

Like prior presentations, the presentation aimed to inform the audience about the reporting framework relevant to SME segment as well as on the current Reform of accounting and professional education areas. The presentation was intended for the representatives of the Georgian Small and Medium Enterprises Association member companies. Overall 600 entrepreneurs attended the event.  

The Service will organize similar presentations aiming to raise awareness regarding IFRS for SMEs in the near future. The Service is ready to cooperate with all interested parties in this direction.
