Representatives of the SARAS attended meeting organized by the industry association

The meeting concerning significant changes made to the accounting and tax legislation was organized by the Georgian Distributor Business Association. Together with invited guests and members of the associated companies, the staff of SARAS attended the meeting.

Through the presentation, representatives of the Service informed the audience about the reporting requirements that arose due to the enactment of the Law of Georgia On Accounting, Reporting and Audit (June 26, 2016) and discussed the objectives and importance of the current reform. The last part of the presentation was dedicated to specification of certain requirements of the law and to discussion regarding pressing issues within the sector in the context of reform.
