Representatives from Georgia attended the annual workshop organized by CFRR

The Head of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision Subdivision of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia, Yuri Dolidze, the First Deputy Minister of Finance of Georgia and the Head of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision board, Giorgi Tabuashvili attended the annual workshop organized by CFRR (The World Bank Centre for Financial Reporting Reform) in Brussels on March 28, 2017.

CFRR was established in 2007 and its mission is to provide the partners from Europe and Central Asia with a range of diagnostic assessments, expert advice and technical assistance in reforming their financial reporting and auditing. 

The annual workshop is organized for senior government officials leading accounting and auditing reforms, and provides experience exchange and mutual learning. The participants discussed the progress that has been achieved and the next steps that need to be taken. During the seminar, representatives from Georgia have discussed current reforms and technical assistance issues with high-level representatives and specialists from the European Commission.
