Standard for electronically requesting public information from SARAS was approved by Order N N-18 of the Head of SARAS

On 31 December 2024, a standard for electronically requesting public information from the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision was adopted by Order N N-18 of the Head of SARAS.

In accordance with this standard, any individual may submit a written request file in the designated format through the electronic mail system available on the SARAS website (saras.gov.ge) at the following link: https://saras.gov.ge/ms/. This allows individuals to request and receive public information held by SARAS without having to visit the office in person.

If the written request file is not submitted as required, the applicant will be given a reasonable period of time to correct the submission. If the applicant fails to provide the required information within the specified timeframe, the application will not be processed. It is important to note that the adoption of this standard does not prevent applicants from submitting applications in physical form if they prefer.

SARAS registers the request immediately. The countdown for providing public information in electronic form starts on the next working day following the registration of the request. SARAS is obliged to provide the requested public information in electronic form either immediately or within a maximum of 10 days.
