SARAS participated in the third Forum of Public Oversight Bodies (POB Forum)

Representatives of the relevant departments of SARAS participated in the third Forum of Public Oversight Bodies (POB Forum) organised by the World Bank's Centre for Financial Reporting Reform (CFRR). The event was held on 22-23 October in Bucharest and gathered representatives of the competent authorities from 11 participating countries, including Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Ukraine.

The POB Forum is an important platform for public oversight bodies to share knowledge and experiences, focusing on topical issues in the field. During the event, SARAS representatives got acquainted with the world's best and modern practices related to the current processes in the auditing field. They had the opportunity to receive information/documentation from experts (foreign colleagues) in order to improve and develop the performance of the functions assigned to SARAS.
The Head of the Department of Auditing and Professional Education Supervision of SARAS made a presentation at the Forum. He spoke about the challenges of the country's audit market and possible solutions to them.

Active participation in the Forum demonstrates the willingness of SARAS to strengthen regional cooperation and share best practices in the field of reporting and auditing supervision.
