The Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision publishes its strategic goals for 2023-2026. By clearly formulating its strategy and making it public, SARAS emphasizes the transparency of its activities, it aims to increase the level of communication and accountability between SARAS and stakeholders in general, as well as to deepen trust in the reform.
SARAS plans to update the document regularly and establish the practice of its publication. Therefore, SARAS welcomes feedback on the document from other interested parties, individual representatives of the profession, regulated entities, other regulators and government agencies, in order to consider, as far as possible, all views and opinions that provide valuable perspectives.
The document has been prepared with the support of the joint World Bank and European Union project on Financial Inclusion and Accountability. The document has been reviewed by the Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Board of SARAS which includes stakeholders from the public, private and civil sectors. SARAS is thankful to the World Bank and the Board for their support and involvement in the preparation of the document.
