"The Road to Quality Financial Reporting" - SARAS Participates in the Conference

On 12 June, the Academy of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia organised a conference on "The Road to the Quality Financial Reporting".  SARAS representatives also participated in the conference. 

The aim of the event was to raise awareness of the importance of quality financial reporting and the need for appropriate professional training in this area. During the conference, SARAS representatives made presentations and spoke on topics such as the deficiencies found in financial statements filed in recent years, the process of monitoring the quality management system of auditors/audit firms and the results of recent years, the deficiencies found during the monitoring process and planned legislative changes. This information will help companies to better plan and improve the overall quality of financial reporting.

Besides SARAS, EY Georgia and ACCA GLOBAL also participated in the conference.
