Representatives of SARAS took part in the conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan

An international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Azerbaijan on “Transparency and Auditing: challenges of the new era, problems, tasks" was held in Baku on September 16, 2021. The conference was attended by representatives of audit field and audit supervisory agencies from different countries.

The representatives of SARAS also participated in the conference. They reviewed the sanctions existing in the field of auditing in Georgia and other countries (see the presentation). 

The conference discussed the importance of transparency in the field for the economic development of the countries and the challenges posed by the new era. The speakers also discussed the topics such as the use of modern technologies and digitalization of the field, the role of auditing in anti-money laundering, etc.
