A second awards ceremony of Georgia’s Responsible Business Awards Meliora 2019 was organized

On December 12, a second awards ceremony of “Georgia’s Responsible Business Awards Meliora” was organized by the Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) with support of European Union and Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung within the framework of the project – “Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative”. 

The nation-wide contest, successfully organized twice, awards companies operating in Georgia, for the most inspiring and outstanding projects and initiatives in the area of corporate social responsibility (CSR). The mission of the contest (the partner of which is also SARAS) is to develop corporate social responsibility in Georgia and popularize it in the community; as well as to encourage and motivate companies to adopt best practices and become role models for others. 

250 guests attended the ceremony, including officials of diplomatic representations and of the Government of Georgia, national and international field experts, members of Georgian business community and civil society. The ceremony was also attended by the representatives of SARAS.
