SARAS became a permanent member of IFIAR’s Enforcement Working Group

IFIAR comprises independent audit regulators from 55 jurisdictions representing Africa, North America, South America, Asia, Oceania, and Europe. Their mission is to serve the public interest, including investors, by enhancing audit oversight globally.

IFIAR’s work on cooperation in the area of investigations and enforcement is prepared and led by the Enforcement Working Group. It includes IFIAR members from the United States, Switzerland, Australia, Finland, France, Germany, Japan, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Chinese Taipei. Henceforth, SARAS also is the permanent member of the Group. 

SARAS truly believes this is a big step forward for the current accounting-reporting reform.
