SARAS took part in the Enforcement Workshop organized by IFIAR

On June 17-18, 2019 the representatives of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia participated in the Enforcement Workshop organized by the International Forum of Independent Audit Regulators (IFIAR) in Zurich, Switzerland.

Invited speakers discussed the main principles, best practices and legislative norms, international cooperation, use of modern technologies, trends and challenges in the area of audit quality enforcement.

The head of the SARAS made a presentation and introduced the achievements and challenges of the supervisory practice of Georgia with respect to audit quality enforcement.

The forum welcomed the representatives of enforcement departments from the audit supervisory bodies of various countries.
