SARAS signed the Cooperation Memorandum with the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission

The SARAS and the Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission signed the cooperation memorandum. The cooperation aims to support risk assessment for conducting quality control system monitoring of auditors/audit firms in accordance with the Law of Georgia on “accounting, Reporting and Auditing”.

On the bases of memorandum, parties will share information on suspected non-compliance with the laws regulating accounting, reporting and audit fields; involve the representatives of parties in the process of regulatory development; jointly plan events aiming to prevent non-compliances in area of concern.
