SARAS held the working meeting regarding the reporting standard for small and medium-sized and fourth category entities

On November 16, 2018, with the support of the UK Good Governance Fund SARAS held the meeting with Reporting Standard for Fourth Category Entities and self-learning document, as well as the project aiming to support IFRS for SMEs adoption. The meeting aimed to present and support the adoption project of GFRS and IFRS for SMEs.

Within the frames of the meeting, representatives of SARAS and donor organizations introduced the audience to the project aiming to raise awareness regarding IFRS for SMEs. They also covered the following topics:  self-learning document of the simplified reporting standard, the rule of reporting presentation etc.   Lastly, representatives of SARAS expressed appreciation for the support of donors.
 
Representatives of business associations, chambers of commerce and industry and professional organizations attended the event. 
  
Events aiming to raise awareness regarding IFRS for SMEs will also be held in the future. The Service is ready to cooperate with all interested parties in this direction.
