Implementation program of IFRS for SMEs for second and third size category entities enters its active phase

On September 2, 2018, with the participation of SARAS, representatives of USAID project - “G4G” (Governing for Growth) and grant winner company organized the presentation regarding implementation program of IFRS for SMEs. Representatives of professional and training organizations, educational institutions, business circles and other interested parties attended the meeting.

The presentation aimed to discuss activities of implementation program of IFRS for SMEs for second and third size category entities, as well as to provide the audience with the detailed information concerning IFRS for SMEs implementation program. During the presentation, speakers discussed the details about planned, as well as already implemented activities within the framework of the project. The presentation was focused on the training of trainers, consisting of two phases. Selection of English speaking trainers (the first phase) has already started. Candidates selected as the result of the competition will be trained by an international expert. Activities planned in the course of the second phase of the project in the direction of training of trainers were announced.  The final part of the event was dedicated to the question-answer session. The audience was given the opportunity to raise issues of their interest and get relevant answers.
