Representatives of ICAEW's Quality Assurance Department visited Georgia

On July 25, 26 and 27, 2018, Within the ADB’s regional technical assistance program, SARAS hosted representatives of ICAEW's Quality Assurance Department. The visit aimed to share knowledge and experience regarding quality control system monitoring process of auditors/audit firms.

Within the seminar, representatives of ICAEW discussed the practice and approaches adopted in the UK for quality control system monitoring of auditors/audit firms conducting non-PIE audit engagements. Representatives of SARAS received the opportunity to broach significant and interesting issues and to discuss similarities and differences between approaches.

On July 27, ICAEW delegation met the representatives of the Board of Accounting, Reporting and Auditing. The meeting aimed to share experience regarding quality control system monitoring related disputes.
