SARAS and the World Bank organized the workshop aiming to raise awareness regarding IFRS for SMEs and Accounting Reform

The Service and the CFRR of the World Bank organized two workshops aiming to raise awareness regarding IFRS for SMEs and Accounting Reform on November 15-16, 2017.

More than 300 representatives from entities of the related size category and representatives of the professional community attended the workshop.

Within the workshop Director of Education of the IFRS Foundation Matt Tilling visited Georgia for the first time. During the event he introduced important issues related to IFRS for SMEs to the audience.

The manager of the World Bank’s Regional program for the South Caucasus, the manager of CFRR, representatives of the International Finance Corporation held the presentation concerning Investors’ View. 

Besides discussing the importance and goals of the Reform, representatives of SARAS overviewed the issues and updates related to directions of Service activities, financial reporting presentation requirements and the system and benefits of publication.
