Representatives of the SARAS attended the World Standard-setters Conference held in London

Representatives of the Service for Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision Subdivision of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia attended the Conference organized by the International Accounting Standards Board concerning the review of technical, as well as educational aspects of implementing International Standards on September 25-26, 2017.

The Conference aimed to introduce the latest updates on International Standard-setting. Updates noted above serve to improve current standards, research projects and educational aspects to support the implementation of IFRS Standard. During the Conference, updates on IFRS for SMEs educational materials were also discussed. 

The Conference created the opportunity for representatives of the SARAS to network with other national standard-setters, members of the Board, technical staff and IFRS Foundation employees.
